The report is the same document whoever instructs it: the schedule, the photo set, the media index. What changes is what you need it for, so this page is organised by who you are, not by what we fly.
The roof your crew can’t get onto yet.
After an event you have more roofs than ladders and a scope to write for each. A whole of roof set from the air, the day the site is safe, gives the estimator the sheet count and the damage extent before anyone climbs.

How an instruction runs
- Instruct
One roof or the list: addresses, what stage each is at, who the scope is for. A fixed price per site comes back, with shared travel on a run.
- Attend
The day the site is safe and accessible. The make safe as it went on, and the roof, capping, gutters and surrounds from a consistent stand-off.
- Release raw
The capture set is released on request the day it is captured, so the estimator can start before the indexed set lands.
- Set
Indexed aerial and ground set with a media index; the completion set alongside the before set when the job closes.
What you get back
- Pre-scope capture. Roof planes, capping, gutters, penetrations and the surrounds, indexed so the scope can cite a frame. Interiors under the roof set where instructed.
- Make safe and progress records. The site when the make safe went on, and at agreed stages after, from the same stand-off.
- Completion sets. The finished roof and envelope, elevation by elevation, with the before set alongside it. The record that closes the file.
The file
- File naming
EI-[job]-[elevation]-[index].jpg. Job reference, elevation or zone, and the index number that appears in the schedule. Nothing is renamed after capture; the camera file name is kept in the media index.- Time and position
- Capture time (AEST) and GPS position are written into the image at capture and printed in the photo schedule and media index. Not added afterwards.
- One job reference
- Make safe, progress and completion sets carry the same job reference, so they sort together and read as one sequence.
- Formats
- Full resolution JPEG; media index as CSV; a PDF cover note per site. If your scope tool needs a photo order, send it and the set follows it.
We do
- Capture, index and report, for one site or a portfolio on one instruction
- Release the raw set on request the day it is captured
- Attend industrial and mining sites, with site inductions completed as required
We do not
- Scope, estimate or price the repair. The record is yours to write from.
- Make safe, tarp or carry out building work
- State cause or advise on cover

Inspection and report for the assessment of a claim, from an operator who lives inside the corridor and has no stake in the outcome. You keep the judgement; you get a file to make it from.

- Instruct
Email or the quote form: site address, claim reference, what you need documented, any access constraints. A fixed price and an attendance date come back in one reply.
- Attend
Airspace and weather checked, site authority confirmed, SWMS on file. Aerial and ground capture in one visit. Attendance record signed on site where someone is present.
- Release raw
If the assessor needs eyes on it before the report, the capture set is released on request the same day.
- Report
Delivery date confirmed with the attendance date. PDF report, full resolution image set, orthomosaic where flown, media index as a spreadsheet.
- Retain
Set retained under the claim reference for the period in the engagement terms, retrievable on request.
What comes back
- Executive summary. Red, Amber and Green counts and the scope, in one paragraph.
- Numbered schedule of observations. Condition observed. Never cause, cost or cover.
- Photo schedule by elevation. Overview to close-up, each frame indexed, timed and positioned.
- Attendance record and scope and limitations page. What was not seen is on the record too.
- Onboarding documents. ReOC, RePL, operations manual extract, JSA and activity SWMS, sent on request.

- Chain of custody
- Originals copied from the card to two locations before anything is edited. Report images are crops or annotations of the originals; the originals are supplied unaltered.

- Report as PDF (A4). Images as full resolution JPEG. Orthomosaic as GeoTIFF and JPEG where flown. Media index as CSV.
- Claim template
- If the file needs a template or a photo order, send it with the instruction and the report is built to it.
Read the sample report. Independent by structure: we do not repair what we inspect and we do not scope the make good.
Common property, on the record.
Condition reports for strata common property: roofs, facades, balconies, car park soffits and plant decks, without a scaffold, a swing stage or a notice to every lot. The schedule is written so a committee can read it and a contractor can quote from it.

- Instruct
The manager or the committee: which buildings, and the question. A condition report, a pre-season baseline, or documentation for the body corporate’s insurer after an event.
- Access
Arranged by the manager. No occupied lot is entered without the occupant’s consent; occupants are told what is being flown and why.
- Attend
Aerial and ground capture in one visit. No scaffold, no swing stage, nobody on a wet sheet.
- Report
A PDF for the meeting pack, the full image set for the building’s records, and a media index with item numbers a contractor can quote against.
What a committee gets
- Roof and facade condition report. Numbered schedule, Red, Amber and Green, photo schedule by elevation and level.
- Pre-season baseline. A dated record of the complex before November, stored and re-flown after an event. How the package runs.
- Post-event claim documentation. For the body corporate’s insurer or adjuster, to the same numbering as the baseline.
- Dilapidation records of adjoining strata and commercial property before works start.

Owners, resorts and asset managers
Coastal roofs, resort buildings, workshops, sheds, solar arrays, tanks and conveyors. Condition documented from the air and the ground without anyone going to height, on a date, by a party other than the owner.
- Condition reports for commercial, industrial and resort buildings. A numbered schedule the maintenance planner can work from.
- Pre-season baseline, then the delta. Baseline September to November, re-flown after an event, and a report of what changed.
- Plant and structures. Conveyor galleries, tanks, stacks and gantries, from a consistent stand-off, without a rope crew or a shutdown.
- Site ready. Site inductions completed as required.
House condition and pre-purchase reports are licensed building inspector work in Queensland and are not offered. We can supply the aerial capture to your licensed inspector.
We do

We do not
- Certify anything, or opine on structural adequacy
- Price the works
- Enter occupied lots without consent, or film people

When a cyclone comes through, the property manager fields the landlord, the tenant, the insurer and the trades at once. A dated before set for each property, and an after set to the same frames, means the evidence is already done and in one place.

- Send the list
The addresses on the rent roll, or the ones the landlords have opted in. One fixed price per property comes back in writing, with travel shared across the run.
- Access
Arranged by your office with the tenant. No home is entered, and nothing inside one photographed, without the occupant’s consent.
- The before set
Roof from above, every side of the house, gutters, fences, sheds and the trees over the building. Dated, positioned and indexed, and held under the property’s reference.
- After an event
Re-flown on your list once the sites are safe. The after set and the documentation report come to you and the landlord, ready to attach to the claim you lodge.
What comes back
- A before set per property, for the landlord’s file
- After an event, before and after pairs on one page
- Originals unaltered and a CSV media index, in the formats claim systems take
- One method and one format across the whole portfolio
Who does what
- We document. The insurer’s assessor assesses.
- You lodge. The agent or the landlord lodges the claim as normal; the pack goes with it.
- No advice on cover. We don’t say whether to claim or what a claim is worth.
We do
- Capture the before and after sets to the same frames
- Hold the record under each property’s reference
- Send the pack to the insurer the landlord names, on request
We do not
- Write a building inspection or condition report on a house. That is licensed building inspector work in Queensland
- Lodge, manage or negotiate a claim
- Pay or accept referral fees

Progress, handover, defects and dilapidation sets through the build. Same frames every visit, each one timed, positioned and indexed, issued to the cadence agreed at the start. The sequence that answers “what did it look like in week nine” without anyone having to remember.

- Set the cadence
Weekly, fortnightly or per stage, agreed in the engagement with the site induction, exclusion zones and point of contact.
- First visit
The frames are set (nadir, elevations, laydown, access) and the adjoining properties are documented before works start.
- Each visit
The same frames, the same stand-off, indexed against the visit number. Raw set released on request the same day.
- Handover and defects
The building as handed over, plus the items the builder or superintendent points to, indexed to the frame.
- Archive
The whole sequence held under the job reference for the period in the engagement terms.

- Certify a stage, practical completion or a defect
- Verify a progress claim, measure quantities or opine on workmanship
- Write a condition or defects schedule on a house

- Brief
What it is for (a booking page, a listing, a campaign, a dated record) and the hours the place looks right. Send a shot list if you have one; we send one back if you do not.
- Plan
Airspace checked, the tide and the light chosen, and who will be on site agreed so the aircraft stays clear of them.
- Shoot
Aerial establishing frames and ground sets in one attendance. No guests, no occupied pool decks, no neighbours’ property.
- Deliver
Graded stills to one recipe, clips in 16:9 and vertical, a media index, and a usage licence in writing.
What comes back
- Graded stills, one recipe across the set. No sky replacement, nothing added or removed.

The file

- Guests and staff are told what is being flown and why. No face is the subject of a frame.

Based where the cyclones cross.
Mission Beach sits between Innisfail and Cardwell. Cyclone Jasper crossed north of Cairns in December 2023, and the rain that followed brought widespread flooding. Kirrily crossed near Townsville in January 2024. Before them, Yasi crossed the coast here in February 2011, and Larry near Innisfail five years earlier.
After a crossing, flights fill, the highway can be cut and the beds go to the assessors. An operator flying in from Brisbane competes for the same seat and the same room as your people. We drive out of our own driveway.
