See the report before you instruct one.
This is the document you would receive: the same sections, the same numbering, the same caveats, built on a clearly labelled mock property so nothing in it belongs to a real client. Direct download, no form.
Fourteen pages, eleven sections.
- 01Cover. Property, instructing party, job and claim reference, attendance date and time, report date, document reference and revision, the pilot’s name and ReOC number.
- 02Instruction and attendance details. Who instructed what, who was present, access, weather at capture, the aircraft flown, the airspace check, the flight log reference.
- 03Scope and limitations. What was inspected, what was not accessible and why, and what the report is not: no cause, cost or cover, no structural adequacy, no certification.
- 04Site plan or orthomosaic. The building from above with every observation pinned by its schedule number.
- 05Executive summary. Red, Amber and Green counts and the condition observed, on one page a reader who was not there can rely on.
- 06Schedule of observations. Numbered. Location and elevation, element, condition observed, rating, photo reference. Condition, never cause or repair.
- 07Photo schedule by elevation. North, east, south, west, roof planes. Each frame with its index number, capture time and GPS position.
- 08Thermal page. Shown in the sample for format only. Thermal will be available; it is not quoted until the instrument is in hand.
- 09Media index. Every file supplied: file name, type, capture time, position, elevation, subject, schedule item.
- 10Attendance record. Times on and off site, persons present, conditions, sign-off.
- 11Terms. What the report may be used for, retention, copyright, and the definitions of Red, Amber and Green.
Three things about the sample.
It is a mock
“1 Example Street, Wongaling Beach” is not a real property and no real inspection took place. Every page says so. The observations show the register, what a Red, an Amber and a Green read like, not a building.
The photographs are placeholders
Hatched boxes with the caption, index, time and position a real frame would carry. A real report carries the real frames.
The caveats are the point
Read the scope and limitations page. What the report refuses to say is what makes the rest of it worth relying on.
